The Canadian LAV III
I used lots of styrene to make the conversion which was quite difficult. The Canadian LAV III is very different compare to the stryker. There are many small differences as I kept finding many one after the other. I used reference photos from Primeportal.net and photos that were sent to me from other military people who supported my build. I did not use any measurements because I could not find any. So I used my eye and deductive calculations to arrive at a fixed measurement. I used everything from small/thick copper wires for tow cables, ties and handles to strips of paper for the many straps you covering the vehicle. I also used archer tranfers for the licence plate on the back of the vehicle and the Canadian flag that is on the front. But majority of the build was scratchbuilt using styrene.
I do not use an Airbrush, I sprayed everything using Tamiya Nato Green spray rattle can. I know many people use an airbrush but I do not have the proper space to have a complete airbrush system. So I make do with what I have. Maybe one day I'll finally get an airbrush.
Unfortunately the model is now damaged!!!
